How Can I Change My Email Address on BHW?

Changing your email address on BlackHat World is simple, but it’s important to follow each step carefully to ensure that your account remains accessible and properly verified.

Steps to Change Your Email Address

• Log in to your BlackHat World account. Head over to BlackHatWorld.com and make sure you are logged into the account you want to update
• Click your username in the top-right corner of the page, then click Account Details from the dropdown menu
• Under your account information, you’ll see a field labelled Email
• Next to your current email, you’ll see a 'Change' button
• Click it to begin the update process

Enter Your New Email Address

• Input the new email address you would like associated with your BlackHat World account. 
• You will also be prompted to enter your current password for security verification.

Save Your Changes

• Once you’ve entered the new email and password, click Save to confirm the change.

Re-confirmation Required

• After you submit the new email, BlackHat World will send a confirmation email to your updated address.
• You must click the confirmation link in the email to verify your new address.
• After clicking the link, you’ll be taken back to BlackHat World. 
• To complete the process, click 'Save' again on the Account Details page if prompted.

Important: If you don’t confirm your new email, you may lose access to important notifications and password reset options.
