How Do I Become Moderator?

We’re always looking for passionate, engaged members to help us keep BlackHat World running smoothly. 

If you're knowledgeable about a specific area (like SEO, hosting, social media, etc.), you may be a great fit for moderating that section of the forum. You can fill in this form to apply for a position as a mod.

Here’s what you need to know:

• This is a voluntary role, and while rewarding, it does require time and consistency.
  
• You should be familiar with BlackHat World rules and capable of applying them fairly when reviewing posts and reports.
  
• You must be 18 or older, proficient in English, and an active contributor with a solid posting history.
  
• Moderators cannot have live Marketplace threads or plans to open one while serving (Marketplace Rules).
  
• Training and support will be provided, including a buddy system to help you get started.
  
• We’ll review your forum activity and report history, so there's no need to spam reports now, quality over quantity matters.
  
• You should read our Moderators Wanted guide before applying.
