Modified on Thu, 8 May at 4:05 PM

The freebies and giveaways section allows members to give something back to the community.

Before you post in this section, please read the section-specific rules below.

  1. Beta testing threads and review requests are prohibited. Please use the Service Reviews & Beta Testers Help Wanted section instead.
  2. All threads and posts published in this section require whatever you're offering to the community to be 100% free of charge. This means no selling, soliciting, up-selling, or bartering.
  3. You may not collect any information in any form from BlackHat World's members. This includes, but is not limited to: emails, off-forum usernames, off-forum contact details, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, etc. In short, list building is prohibited here.
  4. If you need to start a direct message with a member to deliver their free product or service, you must state this in the opening post of your thread.
  5. At no point in the giveaway process can you direct any member to a website, instant messenger address, email address, form, or signature.
  6. Do not attempt to upsell to members who participate in this section. Anyone caught doing this will receive a sales violation warning.
  7. Requests to buy from members, hire or start joint ventures with members in this section are prohibited. Instead, use the Want to Buy, Hire a Freelancer, or Joint Ventures sections.
  8. Downloads are not permitted in this forum. Instead, use the Member Downloads section.
  9. Contests, sweepstakes, and competitions are prohibited in this section. If you have a competition that you would like to run, then refer to this thread.
  10. Do not use this section to beg for free products or services.
  11. Warez or any software owned by another company or individual other than you is prohibited.
  12. All members hosting a freebies thread are expected to request their thread to be closed via the report button.
  13. Freebise and giveaway hosts are permitted to set requirements in their threads regarding membership level, post count and reaction score. However, do note that any requirements which are discriminatory against anyone's gender, race, sex, age, etc are prohibited.
