How Can I Change My Username?

If you created your BHW account within the last 7 days and made a mistake with your username, you can request a change, regardless of your membership level.

If this applies to you, please contact Support to request a username change.

Otherwise, username changes are only available to upgraded members. If you are a Jr VIP, Premium member, or Marketplace seller, you can request a username change once per year by contacting Support.

Please note that usernames are case-sensitive, so when you contact Support, send it to us exactly how you want it to display (e.g., @UserName141334). Additionally, all usernames must abide by our terms of service, which can be found here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/help/terms/

Consider your username carefully.

If you've not yet registered, don't get caught out by the sign-up form - the field says 'Name', but it means the username for the account, not your real name.

Usernames must be between 3 and 22 characters long.

Why can I only request a username change once per year?

This rule is in place for many reasons, but it's basically to protect our users.
