How do I avoid getting ‘Flamed’ or ‘Flaming’?

Modified on Mon, 30 Nov 2020 at 02:18 PM

The right answer lies in the right question and taking the time to source the information.

You can use the search box (top left below navigation) to find relevant answers as well as search engines such as Google, Yahoo, etc.

Before posting a new thread, be sure to use this checklist:

- Does this question already exist in BHW? (Searching all the terms related to your question and reading similar posts from the search box will inform you of all the existing answers.)

-  Is this a post that could benefit me and others? (To avoid flaming, be honest about what you're about to post. Is it already available elsewhere? Don't be inconsiderate and lazy.)

- Is your question specific? (The fullest answers go to the most detailed questions. How can someone comment on  a broad subject? Or how can someone know what you're thinking if you don't explain?)
