If you're trying to reach out to an admin or staff member on BlackHat World, here's what you need to know:
First, you can view the full list of BHW staff members, including moderators and administrators, by visiting our Staff Page. This can help you identify who’s responsible for which parts of the forum.
Direct messaging a moderator or admin is not the recommended way to get support.
So, how should you contact the staff?
All support-related requests, including account issues, thread edits, reporting rule violations, or questions about warnings, are now handled through our Support Desk.
This system ensures:
- Your request is properly tracked.
- The right team member sees it.
- You get a timely and organised response.
If you send a moderator a direct message (DM) about an issue that belongs in Support, your message will likely be converted into a support ticket.
When this happens:
- You’ll receive a follow-up DM with a link to your ticket.
- A member of the Support Team will reply to you through the ticket system, not via direct message.
This setup keeps things efficient and transparent for everyone, especially when issues involve multiple departments (Marketplace, moderation, account access, etc.).
Quick Tip
If you’re not sure whether to use the Support Desk or reach out via DM, just ask yourself:
"Is this something only staff can help with?"
If yes, head to support.blackhatworld.com and create a ticket. It's the fastest and most reliable way to get help.
