FAQ's

"Who is allowed to post in the Dispute Resolution Section?"

If you have had a genuine issue with either a seller or buyer, members are permitted to post a dispute resolution thread.

After posting a dispute resolution thread, the dispute will be sent into moderation, where a Dispute Resolution moderator will review the evidence submitted.

Dispute Resolution threads MUST comply with the Dispute Resolution Rules and Procedures set out here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/dispute-resolution-rules-procedures.1246633/

"I paid a seller x hours ago, and I have not heard anything since. Shall I open a thread in the Dispute Resolution section?"

You must attempt all reasonable forms of resolution before posting a thread in this section. This includes diligently exhausting all forms of contact available, waiting 48 hours at a minimum, and informing the other part of your intention to submit a Dispute Resolution thread.

"Why am I in the Dispute Resolution section?"

If you are found to be scamming forum members or lying about products, reviews, testimonials, earnings, etc., you may find yourself in the "Dispute Resolution" section as an accused party.

"I have seen a scam on another website. Can I post this in the Dispute Resolution section?"

Threads in this section may only pertain to business that began on BHW. This includes the BST, WTB and HAF sections, as well as direct messages. Business that began away from the forum, including other websites, Skype, Telegram, WhatsApp, other forums, etc., will not be covered by Dispute Resolution.

"I want to cancel my Dispute Resolution thread as my issue has now been resolved. How do I do this?"

Please raise a ticket with Support and we'll be able to assist further.

"How do I get myself or a product out of the Dispute Resolution section?"

If you or your product are the subject of a dispute resolution thread, you must reply to the dispute within the timescale provided and explain your story. As explained in the rules for this section, as the accused, you will have 24 hours to respond and will be prohibited from engaging in other activities on the forum while we await your initial response.

An Administrator or Moderator will make a commercially reasonable effort to contact the parties involved, resulting in one of two things: either you/your product will stay in our Marketplace, or you will be banned from the forum.

What happens if I get scammed? Does BlackHatWorld reimburse me for my loss?

No. It's up to a buyer to do their research and use common sense when buying online.

For useful tips, please read our Newbie Guide thread: [Guide] How To Buy | BlackHatWorld. Tips for researching a seller on BHW can be found here: Researching Black Hat World Sellers | BlackHatWorld

Regardless of how you choose to buy from someone in our forum, please be aware that the following is prohibited:
  • Buying from non-upgraded members.
  • Making sales requests outside of the WTB/HAF sections

Be sure to follow the Black Hat World Terms of Service at all times.

Assuming you have followed the rules and procedures for dispute resolution, you can submit a dispute resolution thread, and we will support you in finding a resolution.
